Das Schul- und Gemeindenetzwerk \u201eGlobal Action Schools\u201c zeichnet seit 2006 Schulen aus, die sich in besonderer Weise um eine gerechte Welt in ihrer Bildungsarbeit bem\u00fchen. Die HLW Hollabrunn hat in den letzten Jahren Globale Verantwortung und Globales Lernen immer wieder als Schwerpunkt in den Unterricht integriert und Aktionen gesetzt. Nun wurde die Schule im Zuge ihres Umwelttags am 22. M\u00e4rz zur \u201eGlobal Action School\u201c ausgezeichnet. Bei den S\u00fcdwind-Workshops <\/strong>drehte sich dabei alles um Palm\u00f6l und Handys, die sozialen und \u00f6kologischen Probleme in den dahinterstehenden Lieferketten und m\u00f6gliche L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gemeinsam mit der S\u00fcdwind-Referentin Maja Haider erforschten die Sch\u00fcler:innen der 2. Klassen die globale Palm\u00f6lindustrie, w\u00e4hrend sich die Sch\u00fcler:innen der 1. Klassen gemeinsam mit S\u00fcdwind-Referent Andreas M\u00fcller am Beispiel des Smartphones mit den sozialen und \u00f6kologischen Auswirkungen der Produktion von Elektronikger\u00e4ten befassten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Workshops finden in Kooperation mit der Klimab\u00fcndnisgemeinde Hollabrunn statt. Bei der Verleihung der Auszeichnung zur \u201eGlobal Action School\u201c durch S\u00fcdwind waren auch Bildungs-Stadtr\u00e4tin Elisabeth Sch\u00fcttengruber-Holly, Schuldirektorin Marion Hofmann, sowie die Lehrkr\u00e4fte Ulrike Huber und Daniel Hasenzagl anwesend. Ziel des Projektes „Global Action Schools“ ist es, Sensibilit\u00e4t f\u00fcr globale Fragen und Interdependenzen zu schaffen und Globales Lernen verst\u00e4rkt an die Schulen, aber auch in Gemeinden, zu bringen. Damit setzt die neue Global Action School HLW Hollabrunn ein starkes Zeichen und einen Schritt zur Erreichung der Nachhaltigen Entwicklungsziele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
